A Heart for Christmas Light Display

The San Francisco CBS television station just featured a news segment about a light display that was setup to honor pulmonary hypertension patient Katie Grace and her wait on the transplant list. As the year draws to a close, please consider giving one last gift to PHA on behalf of a very brave Katie Grace Groebner and the thousands of pediatric PH patients who remain desperate for a cure.

Human Race a Success for PHA Community

SF-PHA really took the reigns at the Human Race this past Saturday. From our office, Gia was our brave and symbolic runner for the PH community, with the backing of donors who showed their unwavering support by giving over $16,000. The day was a triumphant one, full of support and camaraderie. So, while Gia didn't exactly come in first place, she ran a great race for all the PH patients, caregivers and family members - who were the real winners of the day!

San Francisco PHA is Top Human Race Fundraiser!

The Human Race has been a very profitable fundraiser in Sonoma County for over 30 years. As the new kids of the block, we here at the San Francisco Chapter of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, wanted in on the fun… and the chance to raise some much needed money for our new chapter. Gia Bevilacqua, our Development Manager (pictured right), is running for a cure from our office. Less than one week before the race, you helped us become the #1 fundraiser out of over 8,000 participants, with more than $12,000 raised. This fast and impressive work caught the eye of a local reporter.
